These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Capix Service. By creating an account, clicking “I agree,” or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

1) Definitions

• Capix, Provider, we, us: Capix.
• Customer, you: The organization or person using the Service.
• Service / Capix Service: Capix’s AI-powered research platform (company search, data enrichment, verified contacts) and related Software/Documentation we provide.
• Order: Any online checkout, plan selection, in-app purchase, pricing page confirmation, or email confirmation that sets your plan, seats, fees, term, and renewal (“Order Details”).
• Subscription Period: The initial and any renewal term shown in your Order.
• Customer Content: Data you or your Users submit to the Service (excluding Feedback).
• Usage Data: Operational data about use and performance of the Service.
• Personal Data: Has the meaning under applicable data-protection laws.
• High-Risk Activity: Any use where failure could cause death, bodily injury, or environmental damage.

2) Access & Use

2.1 Rights Granted. During your Subscription Period, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes and to use our Software/Documentation as needed to do so.

2.2 Accounts & Security. You’re responsible for your Users’ actions and for safeguarding credentials. Notify us promptly of suspected compromise or fraud.

2.3 Support. We provide reasonable email support during normal business hours.

3) Acceptable Use & Suspension

3.1 Restrictions. You will not (and won’t allow others to): (a) reverse engineer or attempt to access source code except where prohibited by law; (b) sublicense, resell, rent, or share access beyond your seat cap; (c) remove proprietary notices; (d) copy, modify, or make derivative works of the Service; (e) run security/vulnerability tests or interfere with operation; (f) access data or areas you aren’t authorized to; (g) use the Service to build a competing service; (h) use it for High-Risk Activity or illegal purposes; (i) upload content without sufficient rights.

3.2 Compliance with Docs & Limits. Use must comply with our Documentation and Order Limits.
